FAMSA is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Organisation is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We ensure that our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.
OVERVIEW
FAMSA prides itself in the ability to formulate programmes that contribute to family strengthening , giving them the necessary opportunities, relationships , network and support for them to raise their children successfully.
FAMSA has Social Workers and Community workers with specialised training that enables them to provide FAMSA services, Presently FAMSA is registered in terms of the Non-profit Organisations Act. We have 28 affiliates across the country with satellite offices.
FAMSA continues to provide good service to South Africans. There's a high rate of violent crimes that affect children which also lead to high fatality rate of innocent children.
FAMSA has, however, made some strides and efforts to ensure continuous. and sustainable improvement aimed at delivering a qualitative and effective service.

Make A Change
Our full-time Social Auxiliary worker course lasts 12-months with learners spending 70% of their time in the field practice. CEFA has an extensive network of Social Workers, Mentors and Facilitators, across South Africa, which means that our course can be presented anywhere in the country.
